0 - ArchivalUser - 11-07-2011 Thanks belleandse! why did you decline the iv? any concerns about quality of program? 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-07-2011 another rejection from Vanderbilt this is a bad start for the week! 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-07-2011 Hi, morris81: You had a lot of ivs in september, how many do you have so far? I received 2 in sept but nothing since then. worried. 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-07-2011 Morris 81- What are your credentials??? How many interview you have. Can anyone tell me how many interviews are required in psychaitry to get match.. I just have 3 till now 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-07-2011 St Louis MO: any suggestion for motel? 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-07-2011 Rej. Indiana uni and Uni. of Tennessee. 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-07-2011 @Yassir.. Guess we tend to get the same rejections..just that you get them like 4 hours before me. @ nicelife Dont know if 7 IVs are a lot, I am just hoping I can convert them in to a residency spot. The rate at which I am getting rejections now makes me somehow think that there may not be much hope of getting any more. @ tmt I have average credentials with a CS attempt, No USCE or US LORs and I need visa. As for number of IVs required, I wonder if anyone can answer that question correctly. But logically speaking, about 10 IVs should be a safe bet. Dont be discouraged though, I know of a friend who matched with just 3. 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-07-2011 @chillax I declined Harlem because I am not sure if I fit in with the residency program based on their website. It seems that they prefer residents from Africa or Haiti. I also prefer an university-based program. 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-08-2011 @tmt here's the post about einstein (PA) from last year regarding prematch: http://www.usmleforum.com/showthread.php?tid=484044 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-08-2011 @tmt I also posted my experience there earlier in this thread-just scroll back. |
