0 - ArchivalUser - 11-14-2011 I think they have 4 positions only and less img friendly? anyway hope is there 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-14-2011 I think you guys have a chance, bcoz this is what I received.... Dear Applicant: Thank you for submitting your application to the Psychiatry Residency Training Program at Tufts Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA; your application has been received and is currently awaiting review by the Residency Selection Committee. We will keep you updated regarding the status of your application as decisions are made. We are fortunate this year to have an unusually large and extremely qualified applicant pool, and are pleased and honored that you have considered Tufts Medical Center. We appreciate your patience during this time. Sincerely, Amy Szetela Muir Residency Training and Education Coordinator Adult Psychiatry, Child/Adolescent Psychiatry and Triple Board Residency Training Programs Tufts Medical Center Tufts University School of Medicine 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-14-2011 @kompete_xy, Did u receive this mail today? Because they sent it to me sometime in October and again today as 'stand by'. I hope they send you also something like what they sent to us, which is better than long silence, I guess. 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-14-2011 @examusmle, m25 and others.. Thanks for your inputs...Guess we will have to wait and watch to really know what this means.. 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-14-2011 anyone interviewed at temple ? 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-14-2011 I wish we had more interview slots to accommodate the many fine applicants like you, but unfortunately there are limits to the time we can devote to the process. We will not be able to schedule you for an interview this year. It is a loss for both of us, since I enjoy meeting medical students and physicians interested in the specialty that I have chosen to spend my life practicing. I am sure your talents could be very helpful to the patients I care about. Our program received more than 700 applications for our 7 spots. Many more than the 100 we are able to interview, would be excellent psychiatrists. If Congress were able to increase funding for graduate medical education, I am sure we could fill another7, or even 70 spots. If only. I hope you are able to continue your pursuit of this specialty, I have found it immensely rewarding. nice rejection!! 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-15-2011 Hey abc...who sent you this rejection....??? 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-15-2011 Thomas Jefferson 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-15-2011 Ya.......it sure is nice..... I got the nicest rejection from EMORY, they addressed me by name and said sorry like 5 times...!!! LOL. 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-15-2011 Just declined my Temple interview, so I hope one of you will get the invite. |
