there was a post for ppl who want to get research work either paid or volunteer, 2-3days back but now I can't find it, does any1 know about it..?

I don't advice you to waste you time and money on research. Most people who are getting the high number of interviews have 2-4 US LORs from observerships in different states. Research migh only increase your chance for university programs but you should also have a super profile. Community programs and others are not bothered with whatever research the applicant do.
