'Is it getting worse???'---- is a leading question, you stand to lose a lot of marks by asking such questions...
since it started how has it progressed?--- is a way to do it....Good Luck

For Quality of pain Ask like this: Can you please describe the character of your pain? ( open ended Question)
But Dont ask Is it burning or throbbing? which is leading question
