This season seems to be going slower than usual. I wonder what's going on with programs.

I think they're screening more selectively now...with family med applicants, they probably review the applications more thoroughly than just basing selection on scores. I believe this is why it's taking longer.

Yeah that makes sense. Also somebody on one of the other threads said that they emailed a PD and they said they were having problems with ERAS so they started reviewing apps later than usual. In either case let's hope we start hearing from more programs soon.

@matchsx2015--I heard the same from a PC. Eras issues probably added to the delay but ppl are getting interviews little by little so there's a chance that they will be sending more throughout the rest of this month and November.
