. But per last year applicants some of them started hearing back from programs in October and before that it was a dead silent inbox!My inbox is in deep coma so far!

last year i started getting rejections on 9/23....nothing so far this year, just 1 acknowledgement from program who sent me rejection last year. So i guess that ack. is a rejection

If programs are waiting for MSPE releases today, it might be another day or two before they start to act on the new information they got.
You might want to curb the expectations for today.
