New IM Programs - gardening - ArchivalUser - 02-25-2015
It seems everyone is putting new IM programs very low....I am putting Brandon Hospital exactly in middle of my rank list bc of ideal location for me. Even I put few extablished programs below that...Am putting this program #7 on my list.
Hope this is not a mistake and I will not regret. Hopefully will match into one of my top 5 programs.

question: am I making a mistake?
I ranked it right in middle of my list due to location etc..I hate North East so preffered this program above others in North. I hope it will turn out to be a good program.
And really really hope a miracle happens and I match into a program ranked above this one (top 5)

Dude this is an irrelevant question! seriously
It's your preference and your convenience; so who cares?
If now 10 people tell you you're mistaken and north east progs are better, do you heed?
If 20 people tell you put this program at the bottom or at the top of your list; do you heed? No
And btw, miracles have nothing to do with this; it's all luck and how strong is your application.

true...it was bc it is a new program and I did not want to risk it...unlike all new programs at bottom of my list I ranked this exactly in middle.

How about brandon versus orange park medical center ?
They are both new programs. I dont know if there will be any difference in training

Orange Park is a little bit slow..in terms of designing curriculum but I know PD very well and he is one of the best men...he will make it into a very strong program and he knows exactly what he is doing...
personally I will not gamble with any new program and rank them low unless u have legitimate reasons...I ranked all new program very low except Brandon which is in middle of my ROL due to family reasons.

i believe you should rank new programs above any programs that you know are bad or malignant but below any excellent and average programs.
