No please don't write to PDs after receiving rejections. First, I have to second childhood_dreams' statement that it won't work for you. One PD said that the reason they don't send rejections (in other words they use the silent rejection method) is that people send them emails after rejections and ask "why I have received a rejection? Explain it so I can improve myself."
So don't send them emails and ask why. It is bad for all IMGs in the long run.
