quite again... Internal medicine forums are on-fire today.. At least with rejections. ! Lets keep praying all will get match @diverticulosis is good to have a backup plan! but stay positive, there is still time for interviews and yes someone will notice you!

I can imagine, I looked up last year's post. Looks like psychiatry will continue sending out iv while IM almost finished. And most of guys with good credentials would finally end up with only 5 ivs in psych. So I understand that it is psych, not IM. IM had much more positions and programs than psych!

195/215/CS passed all 1st attempt. 2012 grad. 2 psych LoRs, 3 other LoRs, 2 years USCE , no research. Applied to total 202 programs, 31 of which are psychiatry. Have only received rejections uptil now. No interviews.

@tcgu: thanks! i'm staying as optimistic as i can, if even i had 1 iv id be feeling much better. rejection after rejection takes its toll on u. but i hope we all match i'm really happy to see all the support from everyone here.

Just spoke with Geisinger's PC. She said that all the interview slots had been filled, but that I had been put on a wait list in case there are some cancellations. At least it wasn't a flat out rejection lol. But Geisinger's inv slots are filled up.
