@tcgu, i know what you mean.. i've heard from 2 programs so far (one being a rej), nov isnt turning out to be as magical as i thought.
also, has anyone interviewed at jamaica yet?

I think it is just because psychiatry has less programs and spots than IM does. IM has more than 400 programs and each of them has more than 10 spots, so people get more iv.
From the iv I got so far(they just offer me 4-5 dates), I think they are working like this, first review AMG, then USIMG, then pure IMG. So it is interesting that some of the programs are still reviewing.

Of course there are reasons... Elmhurst offers prematch and doesn't participate in NRMP. I am couples matching and a prematch would be less than ideal. I declined St. Elizabeth's in D.C. because they offered only one date which I was unable to attend due to prior scheduling of interviews.
Also, I'm comfortable with the number of interviews I have so far, and think it's unfair to hold onto interviews at programs at which I am not truly interested. Hopefully these interviews go to someone who would very excited to receive them and go to their program in the future.
