There is official preliminary data that shows there are over 200+ more AMGs applying for psych this year compared to last. Maybe this is why it hasnt been the season people had hoped for.

Available positions: 1370
~2700 IMG/FMG applicants for 2016 (down by 6 since last year)
Psych is the only specialty to have such a jump in numbers of applications from AMGs.

Got the same LIJ rejection... 4 times.. i guess we underTand the point.. But I actually apreciate that it was a letter type of rejection.. Feel like this season is over

@tcgu, the season is not over yet. I got an interview from Texas last week with lot of dates to choose. I also wrote to few programs, they told me they have not sent out the interview yet. It was UT Texas Houston program. So, lets keep up the hopes!
