@ma16 what do you mean? What I posted are the Match numbers and percentages straight from 2014-15 match. They represent who did match,
of those who matched into FM the FM programs matched 34% FMG
over all FMGs matched US IMG 38% and Non US IMG 36% in 2014-15
( using all that applied in ERAS and then how many matched)

I find it odd this year that people only have 1-2 IVs, last year people with below-avg creds got 4-5 at least. I don't know what is going on, but something is definitely feels different this year. Maybe there was a dramatic increase in applications this year for some reason? Maybe because of increased interest in FM by AMGs? Maybe more people applying to multiple specialties, with FM as a backup? Or perhaps due to rising geopolitical and economic issues in various countries, more people want to come to the us? Or perhaps programs have increased their efficiency by offering less IVs this year, using previous years data to determine who has a high potential of matching?
Has anyone else noticed this match to be different than years past?

@johnnyd idk about last yr. But yes this yr has been a disappointment. I am clinging on to my 2 IVs for now (Alhamdulillah for them) , and I know many haven't even heard back. All i can say is keep your faith strong and keep trying. InshaAllah (God willing) we will get what we have been working for. Ameen ..

We have been saying with the increased AMGs every year after 2013 was going to get harder for FMGs, we are seeing that now

That UMass Worcester email is sorta vague. It goes on to say that if there are cancellations, candidates would be looked at again.
