0 - ArchivalUser - 10-07-2015 @thedoublehelix. This is my 4th time applying, and not mean to sound discouraging but the match gets tougher every year. This is the prime time for IVs, and will slow down by the end of the month. Then a few in Nov, Dec, and January. @Alternativemedicine, since you are an AMG, you should have more IVs except you applied to a few program. Goodluck to everyone. It is a tough process, but we can only hope for the best. 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-07-2015 makes me wonder why nobody here heard from a tonne of programs esp in the northeast. no acknowledgements/ rejections or interviews. Are they all going to people outside the forum, that we dont see any activity here? thats kinda hard to digest too.. 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-07-2015 People have heard from programs. They just don't post it on the forums. But, I will say it seems very slow this year compared to previous years. That's probably because it gets slower each year. DO's also apply to MD programs which makes competition worst. 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-07-2015 Hi everyone, Just thought I'd add my stats as well... hope6543: 2014/215/217/CS(2), No visa needed - 120 programs; 4 rejections and no ivs 1 acknowledgements from Gunderson lutheran rsc2015: 2014/192/230/CS/210-1st attempt on all, Visa needed, USCE 72weeks psycho14: 2013.
