Cadet, can you tell us which one is IL

cadet133 You are on fire, that's 6 for you right?
bighit- I think people said they heard alot more sooner last year. This year is slower for IMGs for some reason.
It's 5pm EST now, so the only news coming now will be from the Midwest to the West Coast.

looks like the factor that matters most is graduation year?
The seniors and last year graduates get first dibs regardless of scores.

I don't know @thedoublehelix. Graduating in 2016 and I only have 2 interviews. Haven't heard anything from my home state.

Did anyone hear from CA, NY or TX? I am baffled. Have not received any IV from yet from anywhere and I applied in select ( not major ) programs everywhere.

Rej from programs already listed on the forum but no IVs

@thedoublehelix i don't think there are any demerits if u start the research job during this time, the only demerit that i can see is maybe taking a day or two off for an IV invite that u may get..

BTW I am interested in applying for a research position too,, can u please advise as to how did u get it or plan on applying? Will you be contacting the program or filling up some form?

Thanks Mahr90,
I had worked with them on a TEMP basis before and now they would like me to join the team full time, so was wondering if that would be a good move considering i might have to leave them mid-project in case i match iA.

Look into the career page of the biggest university hospital/ Med school in your area. pull up all the research positions available and apply generously, you wont hear back from most (all) but maybe someone might just call you in. That's how i got the position last year after a few months of no response but consistent application. After all, Our job is to keep trying Smile
