U.S.M.L.E. | Online

“IF YOU DO NOT PASS..YOU DO NOT PAY…”

• Category

• Introduction

PLEASE NOTE: Our new exam periods for this course will take place quarterly from April 1-30, July 1-30. October 1-30, and December 1-30. Exam period announcements will be made on the standard SMS message platform.

In the first module (IntroStrats) we will explore “how the U.S.M.L.E. works…” We will investigate the entire U.S.M.L.E. process, from start to finish, as to what the U.S.M.L.E.’s goals are, and how we may learn relevant memory psychophysiology, correlated memory –related learning skills, typical U.S.M.L.E. content notes’ categories, the application of the memory-related learning skills towards these notes categories, typical U.S.M.L.E. multiple choice question sets’ categories (and analyses) , the application of learned notes’ sets towards these multiple choice question sets’ categories, and finally, the “Big Picture-“ correlation of real multiple choice question sets’ outcomes as projected to expected final U.S.M.L.E. scores (using past correlated-valid- successful M.L.S.A. student data sets).

In this second module (Anat Practicum) we will introduce a functional categorization of the entire Anatomy notes’ sets (called “Headers 1-8), that allow the student to readily convert the total note’s content into “real-time” Crash Course study “sub-modules.” We will thus be able to practically cover, the entire Anatomy course (including the comprehensive 500-multiple choice questions’ set) within a single 36-hour crash course study timetable.

In all of the future modules we will, using the practical lessons learned from the Anat Practicum, continue in the same vein, for that module’s subject content, with a functional categorization of the entire subject’s notes’ sets (called “Headers 1-8), that allow the student to again readily convert the total note’s content into “real-time” Crash Course study “sub-modules.” We will thus be able to practically cover, each entire subject course (including the comprehensive 500-multiple choice questions’ set), once again within a single 36-hour crash course study timetable.

In general, all modules will be media and content rich and will challenge you to master material with interactive segments that depend on your feedback to move forward in the lesson. You will be able to use virtual labs simulating basic science and clinically correlated clinical science encounters, to test your understanding of the course material. Lessons will also be filled with beautiful animations, exploring the richness and complexity of the basic and clinical sciences. Supplementary multiple choice quiz banks will allow you to test your knowledge on your own time.

Finally, our forums will provide you with a place to compete with other current and matriculated medical students and physicians around the world.

• Meet the Original Founder and Principal Author of This Program

The founding member of our firm, in addition to his medical residency training from the University of Pittsburgh, he completed his education from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, (with an added credential in the form of a Masters in Science in Epidemiology and Bio-statistics), a Master in Science in General and Experimental Psychology from the University of Louisiana (with a rank of number one in his class of sixty –five students) a Master Public Health in Health Policy and Administration from the Yale University School of Medicine, and finally, a Masters in Business Administration (concentration in Finance) from Hofstra University (with a top four rank in his class of five hundred and sixty five students ). He has three years of total additional clinical research experience from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (biotechnological ophthalmologic- drug delivery research, and cost-effectiveness analytic Monte Carlo-simulative modeling of screening for retinopathy in type 2 diabetes patients) , Yale University School of Medicine, (cost-effectiveness analytic Monte Carlo-simulative modeling of the management of tobacco cessation protocols), New York University School of Medicine, (clinically correlated tobacco cessation- neuro-psychopharmacologic research in schizophrenia patients). Finally, he has fifteen years of experience “training” international and national medical students and physicians in the process of successfully completing their U.S.M.L.E. steps I-/II-Clinical Knowledge / III-, respectively.

His “learning laboratory” seeks to understand the essence of these specific medical licensing examinations’ “Big Picture-“ theoretical and practical “real world-“ bio-statistical and psychometric underpinnings. These are accomplished through a concerted analyses of the multiple-choice-question-development-related research used in N.B.M.E. administrative and didactic protocol creation, over a forty-two-year period extending from 1974. To this end, his group employs a wide range of retrospective and prospective research and experimental techniques to probe a typical international medical student’s behavioral and learning-driven analytic systems, while at the same time actively developing practical “real-time-”examination-attempting systems. The latter are of course, based on what is known, and what has been learned about brain, behavior, and of course correlated logically to the N.B.M.E.- (now the ‘U.S.M.L.E.’ body) multiple choice questions’ set creation-processes.
