Dear Future me,
Its going to be the first day tomorrow where the programs will start looking at applications.
We have worked hard for a number of years, some longer than others. Some with better scores, some marginal. It doesn't matter how this match season goes, remember this doesn't define who you are. Don't let this change you, continue to love the people that have been there all this time. Take the blessings, the prayers from your loved ones.
Never ever stop dreaming and know it is all possible. Relish the thought of you when you will be running that code, that last suture to close up your patient or simply consoling your patient after you will have given him the news they didn't want to hear.
This is as much for you as it is for me. This will be a long season, where it matters so much to many and all of us. I don't want it changing who I am, because I am the best I could be at this present time.
I wish all of you the very best this coming season.
Remember, wish for others what you wish for yourself.
