New to thread. Non-US IMG, 4th year medical student, applied to 100+ path programs, 236 (1st attempt)/245 (1st attempt)/CS passed (1st attempt)/ zero publications. Received 10 interviews so far:

I did an elective recently in dermatopathology and enjoyed it very much. It is a fellowship that I am considering after residency. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what I should be looking for in a residency program that may allow me to accomplish my end goal. Also how important do you think it is to match into a reputable program to achieve my goal?
