Kaplan says - neural crest, but HY-embro says - mesoderm. Who tell the truth? I feel it is a little bit wired if laryngeal cartilages derived from neural crest.

Based on HY embro, pharyngeal arch contains both mesoderm and nerual creast. mesoderm --> muscules and arteries, nerual creast --> bone. So Kaplan might be right.
