Job description
An Urgent Care and Primary Care clinic is looking for clinical assistants to perform and assist with simple tests on patients. Those looking to gain clinical hours or experience in the healthcare field will find this an excellent opportunity to do so. No previous experience in clinical field required, bachelor's degree in health sciences or related field preferred.

Schedule
8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, Weekend availability

We are currently looking for someone who can work full time.

A strong candidate for this position is one who is motivated, reliable, and highly efficient. Being able to learn quickly and multi-task are also musts. Any applicant with these characteristics will fit in nicely with our office family!

Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and fluency in English required
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of EMR system, MDLand is a plus!
  • No experience necessary, training will be done on-site
Responsibilities:
  • Interview patient, record medical history, confirm purpose of visit, to verify patient information
  • Prepare patients for examination by measuring patient vital signs and reporting patient history summary
  • Perform a variety of simple tests on patients, provide assistance to physicians during examinations, and handle lab specimens
  • Keep equipment efficiently operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, and perform preventive maintenance
  • Keep medical instruments/equipment sterilized and maintain supply inventory
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards, procedures, and legal regulations
  • Monday to Saturday schedule available, with choice of which day you'd like to take off each week.
