medical assistant - doc_distressed - ArchivalUser - 05-02-2006 hey im travelling to the us this month to give my usmle 2 cs exam.. while im there can i do something more ,, like doing some courses or research or stuff which can help me later on? im willing to pay for these courses but if theres any way i can earn while im here it would be the best.. i dont hav a work visa hav a b1/2 10 year multiple entry visa. anyone can help?? thanx n cheers 0 - ArchivalUser - 05-02-2006 If you don't have a work visa then you can't get anything like a medical assistant position or research. You can get the kind of jobs that unfortunately illegal immigrants have to do. You can check with Kaplan if you can do any of their courses with your visa (Kaplan might be able to change your visa, although I'm not sure about it) or some other school and do a course like medical billing or a med technichian course and then get a job. But that would be a waste of time. Do your exams and then look for other things. |
