if a patient of sclerodermaa,not on any antihypertensives, develop hypertensive emergency with headache &b.p of 200/120.which drug u,ll choose
1)iv nitropruuside
2)lisinopril

actually usmle world goes with lisinopril.but i have a doubt on it.whats ur input on this issue

Hey Zaib just go thro the whole q inuw again it is due to renin angiotensin activation so you have to give lisinopril

agree b/c nitro won't help you in any way in scleroderma
