Want to go in general Surgery.What r the requisites to get into Gen. Surgery.I mean scores and Clinical Exp. approximately that is required?

bullshit. my friend got in detroit. he had low 80's on his step. and yes its categorical surgery. so my friend, miracels can happen, anything is possible. just try your best and hope for the best.

So its a lot about the scores and a whole lot more.U need scores and Luck. Thanx a lot for replying Guys.But as Andrew and tb say its better to get the scores or atleast try for it before getting any further with this surgery thing. Thanx

US citizen. Good connections, low scores, can even get in. Non AMGs, high scores, harder than the low scores AMG. There is no justice.

unfilled positions are there for surg. You dont need high scores at all.

is it possible to get a Gen Surgery Residency in California for IMGs with H1bvisa ? or is it easier to get it with a J1 visa ? Or not at all ? |
