14 yo terminally ill patient , not responding chemotherapy . His parents wants to continue the treatment , But he doesnt want to continue his suffering . The physician told to the parents that chemotherapy will not help. What shd the doctor do ?
Give chemotherapy or not ?

physician is scared to see an HIV patient with an open wound . Can a physician refuse to see this patient ? He can or not ?

1. You can, if you like going to jail...His parents wants to continue the treatment, they are taking medical decisions for him.
2. You can refuse as long as there is another physician who can take care of the patient in a timely manner. (open wound- emergency or just a scratch? )

1, it's better to make a consensus here with parents. Once failed, stop chemo. Two reasons: a) it's futile case; b) following 14 yo pt's will to reduce suffering.

2, You can, although it's unethical, but it's legal.
