A 77yr w woman comes to the doc because of a 2day history of cramping abdominal pain and distention accompanied W nausea and vomiting She is
otherwise healthy and has no history of abdominal operations Her temper|re is 37.4 C (99.4 F). blood pressure is 110/86 mm Hg pulse is 112/min and respirations
24/min Cardiopulmonary examining shows no abnormalities. F.xamin|on ofthe abdomen shows distention and mild diffuse tenlemess'. bowel sounds are high
pitched. An xray ofthe abdomen shows air-fluid levels thruout small bowel and air in the liver there is no gas in the colon or free air. which ofthe falling i

A. small bowl obstruction. hign pitch sound is a giveaway.

C) Gallstone ileum = ectopic stones obstructing ilieocecal valve thus not air seen in colon and but air seen in Biliary sytem
