If patient is on HAART

- no need to give prophylaxis for oppurtunistic even if CD is below 200 or 100 or 50.

- u can add medications to t/t opportunistic infections if he cathches them

I'm not very sure about this , as I have seen patients on HAART and prophylactic Abx at the same time.
Please clarify.

if patient on HAART has CD4 count that is low enough for any prophylaxis, then it should be given.

If improvement in CD4 count on HAART is documented for a period of atleast three months, then prophylaxis can be discontinued.
