agree ampicilinn DOC in preg and SMX-TMP in non preg. Nitrofuroin can also be used as prohylaxis but not recommended in 3dt trimester as it may cause prob in neonate

yeah ur rite stymle got that confused. Nitrof causes hemolsis. But I don't think they will go that deep.
