gradution cut off with 5 years - masmn

Most of the progs have the cut of 5 years grad. I am old grad, can I apply to such progs.
Anybody old grad applied and got residency.
Please advise and thanks.

If you cleared the graduation 5 years back then u must have done something in this interim period. If you did residency, then the year of completion of residency is taken into consideration by most programs.

No, I didnot do residency, but I was working in different hospitals back home.

Look for progs that do not have graduation cut-off dates, they are out there. I think some progs are flexible even when they have cut-off dates but you have to be careful and lucky, some of them might just discard your application if you do not fall within the cut-off.

How do they calculate the 5 years cut-off? From the starting of application or starting of residency?

I dont think from the starting of residency is reasonalbe. Should be from graduation to the application time.
