Hi guys
I am new to this forum
I am IMG from India and I am working in Uk now i have MD from india + 2 yrs experience in Indai
And 2 Years In Uk With my Primary Frca and final Frca about to give shortly.
I have few poster presentations in international conferences.
I have a publication in USA Journal anaesthesiology.
My scores 80 part1/Step2 hoping 90+/Step2 CSA passed first attempt/Step3 Not yet taken but Planning to take in Feb march.
I want an H1 VISA.
Please some body tell me what are my chances to get into anaesthesia with these credentials.
and what are the chances of getting into IM.
I will be greatful to anybody who gives an opinion.

srimanipal,have you thought about fellowship instead of residency???i would explore that if i were you.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but only fellowship..will it let you be practitioner here?? I thought u need to do a residency to practice here, ofcourse fellow afterwards

thats the norm dochoc,but things may vary at times for different people.

Yes Boss I have thought of fellowship,and I have to explore the options for me.
I will try to apply for both.
Advice some universities for fellowship and residency.
