Is it too late to apply to the programs now, specially with low scores, first attempt, 2 LORs?

85 is not a low score at all..you have good scores in all the test. Usually 85 and above is considered very good. because to get into residency it is not only usmle scores. go ahead and try...then you will not live one full year of regret for not applying. Chances of getting residency is still more than 70 % as, if you just get one interview call, you can be in match and post scramble.

CAll all programs before you apply.
some of them r not taking any more applications. they will tell you in thr answering machines dont waste $25 on those programs ! go ahead G/L
