haptoglobulin is dec in intravascular hemolysis ex PNH......ldh is inc in most hemolytic anemia..sorry not being specific

haptoglobulin is actually Hb binding protein in intravascular hemolysis it is dec. d/t carrying away Hb.
Ldh is enzyme inside RBCs converting pyruvate to lactate.so hemolysis releases it .

intravascular hemolysis is always fulminant with shock, hematuria, hemoglobunuria etc, more and there is mostly a precipitating factor, drugs, autoantibodies, infections etc. so also look for this clues in the q stem
