sucral fate as nasocomial pneumonia mainly becayse reguritation of stomach contents. and it is more dangerous if stomach content contain microorganisms.as our stomach ph is acidic around 2 it kills most of the microorganisms.but if we give h2 blockers or ppi it will increase ph and we losose our normal defence mechainsm/so sucralfate is better b cause it just coats the stomach mucosa dont affect the ph.
