PD sent me an electronic signed letter through email and told me they think I'm a strong candidate and will be a good addition to their program.
Any one has idea if this mean I have a big chance to be ranked high or PD just sends similar letters to all interviewees? Thanks. Good luck all in this tough year.

I sent PD a thanks note by email the day after my IV. He replied me one day later by email. And 1 month after my IV, he sent me above email with signed letter attached. Thanks

Could be just the standard letter he/she sends to all candidates. Or maybe they are interested. Nobody knows. Do yourself a favor and do not try to make an interpretation around this issue.

i did the mistake of takin one such letter last yr as a promise... its a norm wid some pd's
