Hi dr_x,
can you tell me if CCS cases from USMLE WORLD are enough for the exam or I need to do CCS cases from First Aid too? And please, could you send me the Aster notes. My e-mail is doctoroct1977. Thank you very much and GL with your residency.

UW CCS and first aid usually guide you how to attempt these scenarios if you were given a task in real life situation. Often You will get 5 or 6 cases in exam from these books. If you have time, then give a reading to first aid ccs after you have thourouly mastered UW CCS (atleast 4 times). if you are currently doing clinical practice somewhere then CCS should not be a problem for you at all.....UW will be enough as it was sufficient for me.....u must also be knowing how important is to practice software daily. Trick is that the exam doesnt evaluate whether u have reached a conclusive diagnosis or not......it will access how you proceed with a scenario (proper-step viz management)......for example, if somehow u can not write the final diagnosis even for 4 or 5 cases out of 11 but u have followed step viz approach....u will pass.......contrary to this will create problem.
