i too think that it doesn't make any diference.if they send u a reply, that just means that they're being polite to aa lot of applicants. it'll be like a mass mail to all the applicants who sent them greetings. it's really not as imp as peope here think it is.

pds are unpredictable and individalistic-response may vary
