where do i have to apply and what all is needed to do so? what are the chances of rejection? does visa extension have any negative impact on further entry in US?
I apply but the decision won't come before 13th Feb, I can still stay back?

i am not very sure of this, but i heard that if u r rejected extension of your stay once, then your existing b1/b2 visa gets confiscated. find out from some lawyer about it, there are also some websites where u can get more info on this. GL

i m not sure, how good a reason that is for the officers to understand..u never know what they feel about it..i think, the risk involved is high.. I wud suggest that u go back to your home country if possible and come back during match. it wud mean spending more money but is a safer option according to me.
