hey,i am IMG.i attended my interview in a program after which i took my step3 exam.i have successfully cleared my exam.when i just mailed this information to the program, I also reiterated my strong interst in the program.the Program Director reply for my mail is as follows:
Mr. X, thank you for the information and congratulations on succeeding with step 3. I have reviewed your folder and we will be ranking you in the match so perhaps you and I will be working together next year.
how shall i take this message-does this mean i will be ranked high enough to get matched in the program or just is it a normal reply-please friends the program is my topmost priority and am going to rank them as my NO1 choice.how shall i proceed with.i just wanna thank u frnds in advance.

Does it really make any difference whether we say "yes, it is a very good sign" or " no, it is a very common email"?
So relax and make your ROL and hope for the best...

My friend says"It is a good sign, because PD have taken time to write an email"

Agree, if it is your top program, rank it first. You will find out if they rank you high enough on Match day.
