Hi,

Before match does programs send any mail/made any call to candidate about their preference?

If yes usually by what time they do so?

How will I decide at the time of postmatch which program is suitable for me...do I need to make a list on the basis of my preferences? (like all the program who sponser H1, location, no of IMG etc)
I think it would not be possible to go thru all details on the same day.

1. Some do, some won't. If they do, they would had already done it.

2. Post match is not a matter of choice. You will be given a list of programs "available" and you grab whatever you can. It is extremely hard to get a position at the scramble, especially for an IMG. And most likely, when it is done, it won't be at a program that you consider "suitable" for you. Obviously you can make a list of programs that you would be willing to go, so it will be easier for you to know who call first. Anyway, I hope you don't need to go for the scramble anyway.
