In UW, a patient with hepatitis C, the management is to give hepatitis A vaccine, but not hepatitis B vaccine. I do not know reason.
I checked family practice on the web, they said both hepatitis A and B vaccines can be given.
I checked other websites, no one said hepatitis B vaccine should not be given to hepatitis C patients.
Could anyone explain this?
Thank you!
