How many people ranked BL and anticipate being matched at this hospital? Is there anyone who knows any residents who are workign there already? How's life working in the Bronx, where do the residents live? etc...
Any information would be appreciated. Thank you

I interviewed there but did not get any email from their PD/PC saying that they would rank me, but I ranked them anyhow. I matched and Bronx-leb was 3rd on my rol of 3 programs. Even tho I am not looking forward to being matched there cos of the Bronx area, I guess it's still better than waiting one more year.

I've done an elective course there. It's not a good area, but I'd be happy to match there. People were nice, at least to me who was a student. I think the residents iive close to the hospital, but it's not the place to take a stroll in the evening. Almost all the residents seemed to be IMGs. I'd say like 95% among the IM residents.

90/94/80/cs pass
grad = 2002 what abt u ? did u match or had to go thru the scramble ?
