A 55 yo woman who is obese, daytime drowsiness, early morning headache. Her husband tells her she snore too loudly. Echocardiography shows an enlarged righ ventricle and poor right ventricular function. what is reason/
a.increased pulmonary artery pressure
b.increased right ventricular preload

I think is a
Since obesity will produce obtruction of the airway that is why she snores to loud.
Also, the reason why the right ventricle is to big could be an increase of pulmonary artery pressure due to the same, (obesity), excess mass so the right ventricle has to make lots of effort to eject the blood to the pulmonary artery and increase the pressure whick will produce hypertrophy of the ventricle.
Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
