it is NADPH oxidase deficiency, so neutrophil can not form superoxide to kill the engulfed organisms, phagocytosis is ok, but killing is ineffective, but again that is only for catalase positive organism (staph aureus, aspergillus, serratia and one more, just forgot, not for other organism, do you need that explanation, why only catlase positive organism ?
