i am a graduate of 2005. i want to join residancy not after 2010. what will be the last date for step 1? i have started preparation but not yet registered for exam.

There is no last date for any USMLE exam, it is available throughout the year except Sat-Sun and first 15 days of the year and all other holidays specified on ECFMG site. Read ECFMG website completely and only then start.
