Yes, you're correct.
Let me summerize here Causes of Thyrotoxicosis with Low radioactive I-2 Update
(1) Sub a/c painless thyroiditis
(2) Sub a/c granulomatous thyroiditis (De Quervain's)
(3) I-2 induced thyrotoxicosis
(4) Levothyroxine overdose
(5) Struma ovarii

Grave's has increased uptake.

Is First Aid for step 3 any good? can we have a poll for this? Rumor has it that only step1 is worthwhile. Step 2 is okay. and Step 3 is less than adequate.

Glad you guys bring this up. There are a few errors in FA, just be careful, but most of the information is good and useful. It may be too simplistic for step 3. I have not taken step 3 yet, but my feeling is that UW is probably the best source.

Both you and pprass are correct. I noticed that along with a few others while I was studying with 1st aid...unfortunately I threw away my book. I only can remember that on the page before the table in question.

The areas for dx hypothyroidism had the arrow for TSH going the wrong way.

Good luck with your studies.
