The answer should be a, GM does not increase the risk of IUGR, the major complication for the fetus is macrosomia, hypoglycemia, still birth, immature lung etc.

A........iugr can occur in DM but very rare....usually high gluc in GDM leads to more insulin production which leads to macrosomia...therefore tight gluc control prevents macrosomia
