If the child got infection from the day care ,(child treated with erythromycin for 14 days) is there any prevention prophylaxis for the entire family

All contact should be trted with erythromycin x 14 days, the objective is to reduce carrier state, not to prevent disease. Note that erythromycin trt for pt does not alter the disease process, just decrease the time of carrier state.
