for vision screen U need an age appropriate screen in Peds pts.

Newborn : Corneal light reflex/red reflex

6 months : Fixation to light or small toys/corneal light reflex, red reflex

3-5yrs: Visual acuity/ fundus exanmination/ light reflex and fundus examination

8yrs and older : adult guidelines of vision screening
in general vision sccreen is done newborn and then annually starting at age 3

hearing: objective screening for all newborns and then annually starting at 3 yrs age.
