Bartter's syndrome is induced by surreptitious intake of furosemide.-, hypokalemic alkalosis, blunted response to exogenous angiotensin II, which reverted to normal by volume expansion with an albumin solution, and diminished fractional free water clearance per fractional distal sodium delivery.
