FA mentions this in the physical examination section. I thought we are not supposed to do a hip exam as we have to expose the pelvic region in order to compare with the opposite side. I think it is more of a workup plan. Please correct me if I am wrong.

well i took kaplan in that we cant expose the area we can ask the patient to point it as in when we ask where is the pain plus for the movements first we ask the patient to move the leg in different directions n then we do the passive mov

do u mean to say that we have to do these tests with the gown on. FA says that NEVER do any test with the area covered.
