Dean's letter query..anyone? - aishwarya

Hi, I have just 1 LOR and was wondering if i can use the Deans letter as my LOR, and also have another official MSPE too..Please let me know. Thanks a lot.

i think u can use it as an lor(if u dont hv a choice) as long as it states something abt ur character (anything which can gv an impression that every1 likes to work with u or atleast that no one has a probl working with u)...

if it just states that u have a student of their college from so and so to so and so(with out mentioning anything abt ur ppersonality) ...then i dont think it should be used as a lor..

ultimately, see that u send atleast 3lors ..bcoz many progs consider appln with <3lors as an incomplete appln..

I'm not sure if you can use your Dean's Letter as an LoR. If you can then it's great. However, see if you can get your medical score to re-write your Dean's letter in the format of an LoR.

And as Uptown suggeted, get 3 LoR's at a minimum.
