hi guys today i took nbme and scored 550 and three digit score equivalent to 229, i am very much depressed and exam is soon in near future with in next week what should i do,very much depressed,plz help with your suggestions and what is its equivalent score in two digit?

why depressed...i guess its pretty good score..i believe in 2 digits u will score in 90s...GL..which nbme u took?? coz i m planning to take in a week's time

dr. maya and usamle7 thanx for your consolation,dr maya i have took nbme 2 and feeling very uncomfortable now,i shd postpone my exam or not,people are scoring like 680 and i think it is a low score low in psychiatry and mental disorder and skin and preventive medicine what shd i do?

Focus on your weakness, many people can not reach 500. You got an excellent score. Why depressed? I know you target on 99 but it will not be a feeling of depressed if you get 93.
Please do not make the others more depressed. Thanks.

hey hope ,friend, i am on probation if i will not get a good score my everthing is at risk my life and everything but you know to be in safe jone i shd score more than 600 as others have told to me i have ruined my step 1 and i cannot take chance this time.thanx for your response and advice.

bondjamesbond, I am on the same boat with you but I would be very happy if I got the same of your NBME score. It is very closed to the target. I think it will not be different between 93 to 99 (all of person with the score above 90 are in safe jone). How long have you prepared for step2? When will you take the test? You will reach 99 after 2-3 weeks. I think so.
